The current contract expires on 9/26/2026. We need the new award to be in place by 9/27/2026 or we will not be able to support HSPD-12 functionality throughout GSA. Funds the competitivily awarded contract to provide security and updates to GCIMS. GCIMS manages background investigation and credentialing for GSA personnel. GCIMS also provides data throughout GSA and is an central hub for data. Additionally this contract supports the higher tier help desk support and managing automated processes within HSPD-12 program (Mass initation of background investigation RapBack and TW 1.25 MSO GSA Access Card Management and DCSA). The operational risk is that employees and contractors will not able to obtain and use GSA Access Cards causing security vulnerabilities. Additionally employees and contractors will not be able to onboard to do work for GSA. The contract should use the MAS 541519PIV category.
