Category 2 - MIBS, Basic Maintenance and Equipment Managed Internal Broadband: Firewall Services: Managed/leased broadband data protection and security services (i.e., firewall and inter-site WAN services). The Kuspuk School District is seeking multi-year contract bids for one-year and three-year contracts with mutually agreed upon one-year extensions for Managed Internal Broadband services (MIBS) for data protection and security services (i.e., firewall services). The quote MUST itemize eligible and ineligible costs in accordance with E-Rate program rules. The Districts preference is for this contract to co-terminate with the awarded Internet Access services. Managed Internal Broadband and Basic Maintenance The Kuspuk School District is seeking multi-year contract bids for one-year and three-year contracts with mutually agreed upon one-year extensions for Managed Internal Broadband services (MIBS) and Basic Maintenance. The District is requesting Managed Internal Broadband Services defined in the 2026 Eligible Services List for the management, additional procurement and Basic Maintenance of wired and wireless infrastructure, including access points, controller, switches, routers, etc. under the E- Rate Category 2 program. Repair & maintenance under this contract will include the following activities: connectivity troubleshooting (remote or in-person), configuration/reconfiguration of equipment, adds/moves/changes work, and other routine maintenance activities. For per-incident repair & maintenance work on eligible equipment, the vendor must invoice the District only when actual work is performed; invoices must track the number of hours of work performed. The proposer must list the cost per hour; estimated number of hours of maintenance needed beginning FY25 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027) and throughout the life of the contract. Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) or Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections (BMIC) for the following equipment housed at these school district entity locations: Zackar Levi Elementary School, Joseph and Olinga Elementary School, George Morgan Sr. High School, Auntie Marie Nicoli Elementary School, Aniak Middle/High School, Crow Valley Sam School, Johnie John Senior School, Jack Egnaty Sr. School and Gusty Michael School. 10 - Meraki MS250 - 48P 59 - Meraki MR44 APs 14 - Meraki MR776 APs
The district's preference is for the awardee to have the capacity to file SPI. Any questions regarding the request for bids for Category 2 must be submitted in writing no later than 3/30/26.
