This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations an item. are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0654 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Dairy Forage Research Center (DFRC) is seeking quotes for a service which will test cow’s milk for fat, protein, and milk weight under a firm-fixed price contract with a Base plus Four Option Years.
There will be an approximate average of 360 samples. The numbers can fluctuate, the number of samples last year ranged from 330-370 which will be collected on a monthly basis by the potential contractor from Prairie du Sac Farm located at S8822 Sunset Dr, Prairie du Sac, WI 53578.A monthly report will be generated and transmitted by the potential contractor. (See Attachment 1 Statement of Work for Details)
This acquisition is a set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541380. The small business size standard is $19. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
