FY26 MSG Cook Service

The contract provides cook services for the Marine Security Guards Detachment at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, covering the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday, along with maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas. Services must comply with USDA, FDA, ServSafe, and Codex Alimentarius standards, with adherence to HACCP protocols and a minimum 90% performance threshold. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and services, including proper use of personal protective equipment, adherence to safety standards under EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations, and implementation of a quality assurance and risk management plan. All personnel must pass background checks, wear government-issued ID badges at all times, and comply with strict access control rules, including key management and prohibitions on unauthorized duplication. The only key personnel requirement is the MSG Detachment Cook, who must have a minimum of three years’ experience managing premium-level food service operations, with strict substitution restrictions during the first 180 days and formal approval processes required thereafter. The contract has a base performance period of one year beginning July 14, 2026, with four one-year option periods that the government may exercise based on performance and funding.
