The contract is for the procurement of one additional LaserRef II INU (Part Number HG1075AE04) manufactured by Honeywell, intended as a spare unit for the G-IV aircraft within NASA’s Airborne Science Program. This item serves as a primary navigation source, providing critical flight path data including position, attitude, and heading, and is specifically designated for spare parts kits, not for urgent aircraft-on-ground (AOG) use.
