G004--New Transitional Housing Contract

The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Network Contracting Office 6 (36C246) in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking qualified small businesses to provide transitional housing services under the G004 New Transitional Housing Contract, identified by solicitation number 36C24626Q0385. This effort is structured as a total small business set-aside under FAR 19.5, with an estimated contract value of $19 million, and is currently in the market research phase through a Sources Sought and Intent to Sole Source notice to determine industry interest and capability. The primary objective is to establish a facility located within the Durham community, within a 50-mile radius of the Durham VA Medical Center or a 25-mile radius of the Raleigh and Clayton VA Community Based Outpatient Centers, to deliver transitional housing and comprehensive support services to Veterans, including preparation of three balanced meals and daily snacks, provision of personal hygiene items, first aid supplies, and locked storage as needed.
