IF ANY QUESTIONS SHOULD ARISE, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED ELECTRONICALLY. The instrument must detect ortho-perflourodicyclohexane (oPDCH) in soil gas (humid air with up to 90% methane) using cavity enhanced laser absorption spectroscopy that accurately and rapidly measures the concentrations of oPDCH in real time. It must be based on a commercially available platform, simple to operate, portable (less than - cubic meter, 24VDC or household current and less than 75 lbs), and short response time capable of directly measuring absorption spectra of oPDCH in ambient air in a measurement time of less than 30 seconds with a minimum sensitivity of <10 ppbv and a preferred sensitivity of at least 1 ppbv. The platform must contain an external cavity Infrared laser. Manufacturer must provide a calibration curve, software specific for oPDCH and an operations manual. Detection limits must be demonstrated at BNL before delivery/acceptance of the final turn key system. Offerors must provide documentation of no less than three (3) years of proven field deployment of at least 25 units per year.
