GC Services for Interior Finishes at ÉÉC Saint-Nicolas, Milton

Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir is soliciting bids for general contractor services to perform interior finishes and renovations at ÉÉC Saint-Nicolas, located at 720 Woodward Ave, Milton. The scope of work includes comprehensive washroom renovations in Room 117, featuring the demolition of existing urinals and the installation of Washbrook wall-mounted urinals and Sloan in-wall sensor flushometers. Additional requirements include upgrades to the girls' washroom in Room 130, rubber flooring replacement in the library using Gerflor Mipolam Affinity, and repairs to the doors and canopy at Back Entrance 119. All work must comply with the Ontario Building Code, plumbing and electrical codes, and standards from the CSA, ULC, and ESA. The solicitation is an open competitive process with a submission deadline of October 1, 2026. Bidders must have attended a mandatory site visit on September 18, 2026, and must provide a company profile, a detailed project schedule in Excel or MS Project, and a capacity statement. Evaluation criteria include a 10% scoring advantage for bidders utilizing Ontario-made goods and services. Award requirements include a liability insurance level of 10 million dollars per occurrence, automobile insurance of 5 million dollars per occurrence, and a WSIB Clearance Certificate. Due to the school environment, all personnel must undergo background checks and wear company-issued identification badges. Work is generally expected to be performed outside of regular school hours and on weekends.
