GDC-180-DP - Walker State Prison Kitchen Renovation Design

The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission, acting on behalf of the Georgia Department of Corrections, is soliciting design professional services for the full renovation of the commercial kitchen facility at Walker State Prison in Rock Spring, Georgia. The project scope is comprehensive, encompassing environmental assessment and abatement, utility investigation, flooring replacement, and the installation of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, security, and food service equipment, along with all necessary civil and architectural work. The project is estimated to have a construction budget of 12,200,000 dollars and requires compliance with Georgia Department of Public Health Food Service Regulations, the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Construction Act of 2008, and Georgia Peach certification for commissioning.
