Full Description

The City of Morgan Hill's Utilities Division is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repair services for its 30 generators located throughout the city. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary parts, labor, machine shop work, field work, shop and field welding, miscellaneous repair, travel time, expenses, and equipment. Key tasks include annual routine service for all generators, a three-year rotational preventive maintenance program (PM-3) involving replacement of belts, hoses, coolant, and batteries, and on-call emergency and non-emergency repair services on a time and material basis. The contractor must also be able to provide generator rentals as needed. All services must adhere to prevailing wage laws and DIR registration requirements. The City will not consider proposals with a parts and materials markup exceeding 25%.
