Synopsis NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source GSA delivery order to Gentex Corporation for HGU-56/P Aviator Helmets. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 8.405-6. The anticipated award date is 10 Sep 09. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
