GEORGIA STATE PATROL RESURFACING

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for the Georgia State Patrol Resurfacing project at the Liberty County State Patrol facility. The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 600 tons of asphalt overlay, asphalt milling, minor pavement patching, and the application of pavement markings. Interested parties must purchase a bid packet from T.R. Long Engineering to become registered bidders, as only bids from registered entities will be opened. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 P.M. local time on October 13, 2026, and delivered to the Liberty County Board of Commissioners in Hinesville, Georgia. Requirements for submission include a bid form with prices listed in both words and figures, a bid bond of at least five percent of the lump sum bid, and M/WBE documentation submitted in a separate sealed envelope to meet a 3% DBE participation goal. The successful awardee will be required to provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount within ten days of notification.
