Geotextile Fabric

The City of Tulsa is seeking bids under solicitation IFB 27-303 to establish a one-year annual contract for the purchase of geotextile fabric for its Public Works Department. The required material is specified as New TenCate Mirafi 180N 8oz Nonwoven Polypropylene Geotextile Fabric in 15 by 300 foot rolls, or an acceptable equivalent. Technical specifications require a minimum CBR puncture strength of 500 lbs and a minimum UV resistance of 70 percent strength after 500 hours. The contract will be awarded to the lowest secure bidder based on price and specifications, though the city may also evaluate bidder history, experience, delivery time, and performance data. Bids must be submitted as sealed physical packages containing both an original and a copy, as emailed or faxed submissions are prohibited. Successful bidders must provide an IRS W-9 and proof of insurance within ten days of acceptance, including one million dollars in general liability and automobile liability coverage. Deliveries must be made F.O.B. to City facilities using only flatbed trailers or dump beds, with the seller assuming full responsibility for unloading any items exceeding 500 lbs. Payment is issued net 30 days following the receipt of a fully itemized invoice and the city's written acceptance of the goods. Sellers must also certify compliance with 25 O.S. Sec. 1313 and participate in the Status Verification System.
