This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the work to be performed by the Contractor to provide
replacements for the Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) in use on Royal Canadian
Navy (RCN) Blue Water Navy and Coastal Vessels, as well as various Department of National
Defence (DND) shore facilities. The Blue Water Navy vessels include the Halifax and Kingston
Classes, and His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Oriole, while the Coastal Vessels include the
Patrol Craft Training Class and Auxiliary vessels. This SOW together with the Technical
Statement of Requirements (TSOR) defines the total work required and the related material, data
and services that are to be provided.
