The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The government need is to procure ruggedized, high spatial accuracy GNSS units compatible with the existing hardware, software, and data processing workflow currently used by the Rock Island District. Specifications Trimble Geo7x Centimeter Kit with Range Finder and 2m Range-Pole (PN: TW-88181-55-KIT), or equivalent - Dual frequency GNSS receiver and antenna - Capable of collecting RTK centimeter grade positions - Integrated camera and laser range finder - Integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Cellular - Sunlight readable display - Ruggedized, water-resistant - Kit must include survey range pole, bracket, bipod, external GNSS antenna, rechargeable batteries (x2), AC charger, and transport case - 4-year hardware warranty - Must support data collection using the Trimble TerraFlex mobile application - Must support data submissions using Trimble InSphere cloud service The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Seiler Instrument, 3433 Tree Court Ind.
