GLOVE, PATIENT EXAMINING AND TREATMENT

The contract specifies the procurement of 10,000 packages of patient examining gloves, each package containing 100 gloves, for a total of one million gloves. The gloves must be medium size, purple, made from nitrile rubber, latex-free, powder-free, non-sterile, ambidextrous, and feature textured fingertips and a beaded cuff. They must measure 9.5 inches in length with a fingertip thickness of 5.9 mil and a palm thickness of 4.7 mil, and be packaged in a dispenser box. The item is identified by NSN 6515-01-494-2085 and must comply with Medical Procurement Item Description (MPID) No. 1 dated March 3, 2015, with the exception of the finish requirement, which mandates textured fingertips for enhanced grip while the remainder of the glove maintains a smooth finish. The gloves have a non-extendable shelf life of 60 months, and no more than nine months may have elapsed from the date of manufacture to the date of government delivery. Packaging must adhere to ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129, with palletization following DLA Packaging Requirements for Procurement. Delivery is required by May 29, 2026, at FOB Destination to the USNS ROBERT F. KENNEDY T-AO 208, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination.
