Full Description

This solicitation will be issued Unrestricted as an Indefinite Delivery type contract and is for the acquisition of Gloves, Lineman's, NSN 8415-00-274-2431 to 2434, Specification ASTM-F696-06, Gunn cut design or clute design acceptable. Year minimum quantity required is 6,150 PR. Maximum quantity is 10,660 PR. Production lead time is 120 days after date of award, with one delivery approximately February 2009. Destination is DDSP, New Cumberland, PA. FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Best Value procedures will be used. The following evaluation factors will be incorporated into the solicitation; delivery, product demonstration models (PDMs), past performance and socioeconomic. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for award (http://www.ccr.gov). All components/manufacturing must be of DOMESTIC ORIGIN. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the BSM DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at http://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ AFTER OCTOBER 18, 2008.
