Each pair of chemical protective gloves shall be positioned fingertip to cuff with the back side of each glove facing outward to permit the required markings to be read.
The polyethylene bag shall be formedwith heat sealed seams that are straight, continuous, and parallel to each other and the formed edges of the bag. The final closureof the bag shall be heat sealed with the seal made as close as possible to the open end. The bag may be fabricated from thepolyethylene film tubing or sheeting. Prior to or during the closure operation, excess air within the bag shall be expelled.

Markings: CRITICALIDENTIFICATION MARKING REQUIREMENTS: As an exception to the MIL-STD -129R (May 24, 2018) Change Letter 1, for Shelf-life items,the inclusion of the Contract number [in addition to the PIID (13-digit number)] shall be applied to unit, intermediate, exteriorcontainer and palletized unit load identification labels. Example: “Contract #: SPE1C1-18-D-XXXX” and underneath “PIID: SPE1C1-19F-XXXX”. This identification marking information to include the contract number is a standardization process to identify materialfor Shelf-life testing. The contract number is necessary for Shelf-life documentation. Failure to comply with this mandatory marking requirement will result in a Supply Discrepancy Report and either require the supplier’s financial reimbursement for remarking orpossible rejection of delivered supplies.
