NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) intends to award a follow-on contract, titled Goddard Information Collaboration Center (GIC2), Information Science and Library Services (ISLS), to support its facilities in Greenbelt, Maryland, and Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. The contract focuses on providing a range of services including data collection building, research support, digital library services, customer training, information systems support, digital preservation, and knowledge management. It will have a base period of 12 months with two additional 2-year option periods, structured as a Firm Fixed Price contract for core services supplemented by an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity component for issuing task orders related to technical subscriptions over the five-year term. This procurement is set as a total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 519120 with a size standard of $15 million. The government plans to release a Draft Request for Proposal by mid-October 2017 to allow potential offerors to review and submit questions but will not accept full proposals at that stage. The final Request for Proposal is expected around early January 2018, with proposals due by early February and contract award anticipated by early July 2018.
