PRODUCTION LOT TESTING (GOVERNMENT)

Weckworth Manufacturing, Inc. has been awarded a $904,998.26 indefinite-quantity contract by the Defense Logistics Agency under solicitation SPE4A7-26-R-0437, effective July 20, 2026. The contract is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5 and operates as an IDIQ with a five-year base period from 2026 to 2031, carrying a minimum annual order of 105 units and a maximum of 420 units per year. The primary deliverable is the Strap Assembly, Parachute (NSN 1670-00-998-0116), with the total contract value representing the full annual maximum quantity at a unit price of $250.32. Ancillary services include Government First Article Testing, Production Lot Testing, and Special Testing, each identified by unique NSNs and priced separately. The contract mandates strict adherence to MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and preservation, MIL-STD-129 for labeling and barcoding with Data Matrix compliance, and MIL-PRF-22191 Type III JV wrapping for environmental protection. All items must be marked with critical identifiers including NSN, CAGE codes, contract number, lot and serial numbers, and special labels indicating test status, such as “FIRST ARTICLE TEST EXHIBIT(S) DO NOT POST TO STOCK.” Inspection is conducted at origin by the Government, while acceptance occurs at destination, primarily at the Natick Materials Test Lab in Massachusetts. The contractor must comply with quality standards per ISO 9001:2015 and ANSI/ASQC 21.4-2008 Level S-2, maintaining all records for Government review. Payment is processed exclusively via Wide Area WorkFlow, and invoicing and documentation must follow DFARS 252.232-7003 guidelines.
