Description: Grading Support at Maxwell AFB AL - F2XHC31038A001 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F2XHC31038A001as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). It is the offerors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 611710 with a small business size standard of $7 million. This acquisition is for 100% small business set aside. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following service: Non-personal service to provide grading support for Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base meeting all criteria identified in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The current faculty at the Air War College Distance Learning Center are classified as instructors at the graduate level consisting of military personnel at the rank of O-4 (Major)/O-5(LtCol) and civilians at the grade of General Schedule grade 12 (GS-12). The government does not envision compensating above the level of the current compensation package of the current instructors on staff. The period of performance is16 March 2011 through 30 September 2011, with one option year (01 Oct 2011-30 Sep 2012). The type of contract will be firm-fixed price and per FAR 52.212-1(b).
