Granite Relocatables Lumber and Supplies

The Granite School District is issuing an Invitation for Bids (AP27-606-IFB) to procure lumber and construction supplies required for the construction of four mobile classrooms. The scope of work includes various materials such as LVL, TJI I-Joists, OSB, Zip Board, and trusses, with specific requirements for trusses to follow provided roof plans. To ensure the ability to meet emergency or last-minute needs, the District requires that the selected vendor be located within 25 miles of 2700 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT. All materials must be delivered FOB Destination and the vendor must be capable of fulfilling orders within a 24-hour lead time. The contract is expected to be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, though the District reserves the right to award to multiple vendors by line item or accept individual items to best meet its needs. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through the Bonfire Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) by the specified deadline. Pricing must be provided on the itemized bid sheet, showing both unit and total prices, and must include all shipping and delivery costs. The District may utilize the bid prices for a term not to exceed one year from the bid due date. Successful contractors must comply with various legal and administrative requirements, including Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), non-discrimination laws, and specific insurance mandates covering Workers’ Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Commercial Automobile Liability. Additionally, contractors must certify they are not engaged in any economic boycott of the State of Israel and must adhere to all local and federal employment regulations.
