The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) is seeking qualified professionals to assist in the design, implementation, and communication of Low-Tech Process-Based Restoration (LTPBR) projects within the Boundary Region. The contract unfolds in two phases: initially, an unfunded Phase 0 requires the identification and preparation of grant applications to secure federal funding. Successful grant acquisition will trigger subsequent phases involving the physical execution of the restoration work, including site selection, permitting, installation of restoration solutions, long-term monitoring, reporting, and ongoing communication support for these projects. The contract emphasizes the contingent nature of project implementation on the approval of grant funding, with Phase 0 focused solely on securing these funds through comprehensive grant writing efforts. Once funding is confirmed, Phases 1 through 5 will involve active project delivery and communication activities to engage stakeholders and ensure project success.
