Grease Hood Inceptor, damper assembly, and VCC control

The U.S. Navy’s Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting for grease hoods, damper assemblies, and VCC control cabinets intended for installation aboard naval vessels, specifically for replacement of bakery combination ovens and modification of HVAC systems in the Commanding Officer’s galley. This requirement is being sole-sourced to Gaylord Marine Services, LLC due to proprietary drawing specifications with limited distribution and critical form, fit, and function constraints, as documented in the sole source justification. While the solicitation is not open for competitive bidding, interested parties may express interest to assist the Government in determining whether a competitive approach is feasible, though the decision to compete remains at the Government’s sole discretion. Deliverables must comply with stringent packaging, marking, and identification requirements, including adherence to MIL-STD-130 and MIL-STD-129 for Unique Item Identification (UID), and packing per MIL-STD-147 and ASTM-D-3951.
