Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement to solicit a supplier that can complete the following objectives related to the buoy-based monitoring network within the Great Lakes as detailed in the Statement of Work, Annex A to the bid solicitation: 1) Lease, deployment, maintenance, and retrieval of fully instrumented and functional buoy(s) that can obtain and transmit Water Quality (WQ) data in real time to ECCC and to GLOS-Seagull; 2) Provision of routine maintenance to ECCC owned WQ monitoring buoys that will be deployed in the region of interest. The period of the contract is from contract award to March 31, 2026 inclusive with the option to extend the term of the contract by up to four (4) additional one-year periods under the same conditions.
