Groundwater Substitution Modeling & Reporting

The contract involves the development and validation of groundwater substitution models to evaluate the effects of reduced surface water deliveries on regional aquifer systems. This work is critical for understanding how groundwater resources can compensate for diminished surface water supplies, particularly in the context of sustainable groundwater management under the California Sustainable Groundwater Management Act. The project requires detailed aquifer monitoring to collect and analyze hydrogeologic data, ensuring accurate model calibration and reliable predictive outcomes.
