GSE & VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND TRANSIENT ALERT SERVICES

The 78th Contracting Squadron at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, plans to award a sole source bridge contract to First Support Services Inc to provide Vehicle Operations and Maintenance and Analysis Services, Transient Alert Aircraft Services, and Ground Support Equipment Maintenance. This bridge contract serves as a short-term arrangement to ensure continuity of these essential services while competitive follow-on contracts are developed and awarded. The contractor will be responsible for delivering all necessary management, labor, fuel, vehicles, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision, ensuring compliance with standards set by the Department of Defense, United States Air Force, and Air Force Material Command. The contract is planned as a firm-fixed price agreement with an initial duration of one to three months, with options to extend between one and five additional months depending on operational needs. All work is to be performed exclusively at Robins AFB, Georgia, with the anticipated award date around May 30, 2008. The services covered by this contract are critical to supporting ongoing vehicle and ground support equipment maintenance and transient alert functions at the base, maintaining operational readiness during the transition to a subsequent competitive contract.
