The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office is entering into a sole source delivery order under BOA N0001919G0008 contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LM), Fort Worth, TX. This effort was awarded in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2022 with a twelve month base period of performance. This effort is for engineering and range support efforts required to accomplish the successful firing of the GPU-9/A Gun Pod used on the F-35B STOVL Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
