Johnson County Community College (the “College”) is soliciting bids for the renovation of an existing restroom and several locker rooms in the JCCC Gymnasium Building on the JCCC main campus.*1/12/24 - Addendum #1 issued*1/18/24 - Bid due date is now moved out to 1/23/24 @ 2 pm with Addendum #2 to be issued*1/19/24 - Addendum #2 issuedFull detailed project specifications and drawings can be downloaded on the “Bid Documents” tab in ProcureWare https://jccc.procureware.com*All communications in regards to this RFB are only to be directed to the Procurement dept. via the "Clarifications" tab in Procureware https://jccc.procureware.comA pre-bid conference with interested Contractors will be held at 2:00 pm, 1/10/2024, in the Gym Building (GYM) Classroom# GYM021 on the College main campus at 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park, Kansas 66210.This conference/site tour will enable Contractors to inquire about the bid & tour the work to be bid on for the project. No more than two (2) employees from each firm are to attend. Attendance at the conference is highly recommended.NOTE- the awarded firm should realize that JCCC doesn’t want the restroom closed for the demolition and then have the restroom sit idly closed for weeks. The awarded firm should only close it for demo after shop drawings are approved and the firm knows the expected delivery date of key components like lighting and partitions. The firm should then work backwards from that expected delivery date to schedule when they should do the demo to minimize the time the restroom is closed.
