Bid Submission. The City of Morgan Hill (“City”), will accept sealed bids for its Morgan Hill Police Department Expansion Project (“Project”), by or before January 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at its DEVELOPMENT SERVICES CENTER, located at 17575 PEAK AVENUE MORGAN HILL, California, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Location and Description. The Project is located at 16200 Vineyard Boulevard Morgan Hill, CA 95037, and is described as follows: The project scope will include minor demolition of non-structural walls to provide access to the new proposed office area. Work will also include necessary electrical, HVAC, concrete flat work outside of building, and other miscellaneous work associated with tenant improvements. Contractor and all staff working at the police station will be required to complete a California DOJ fingerprint exam and criminal history check prior to being allowed on site. Those individuals with felony convictions and or recent disqualifying misdemeanor convictions will not be allowed to work on the police station premises. Estimated Cost.
