Requirements Description: The Rate Gyroscopes belong to the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The gyroscopes sense different attitude changes in the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and signal the actuator to make roll, yaw, and pitch attitude corrections. They use the mechanical technology of a spinning mass. The CN-1552/A Rate Gyroscope and CN-1564/A Pitch Rate Gyroscope are the same gyroscope with the one exception: the CN-1564/A has a connector attached to an external wiring harness, or pigtail, and the CN-1552/A does not have a connector but only the external pigtail harness.
