Full Description

The Naval Air Systems Command awarded a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Woodland Hills, CA for the acquisition of Tech Refresh Missions Computers (TRMC). This contract supports the H-1 Program for Lot 15, Lot 16, retrofit units for Lots 1 through 10 of the UH-1Y and AH-1Z fleet, to include spares. Additionally this contract will support the Army UH-60V Blackhawk Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) program and provide ordering authority to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for sparing of the H-1 fleet. This procurement includes associated components, trays and Mezzanine Cards. The TRMC is a highly developed and integrated amalgamation of hardware and software to which the Government has limited rights and with substantial investment established as the fleet accepted and approved computer platform for the UH-1Y/AH-1Z fleet, as well as the Army UH-60V Blackhawk LRIP program. This requirement was procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements.
