H & K UMP-40 Submachine guns

The Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) intends to award a commercial sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Heckler & Koch-US, 19980 Highland Vista Drive, Suite #190, Ashburn, VA 20147. WHS/AD intends to award, an other than full and open competition, one time effort for the procurementof the following: H&K UMP-40 Submachine gun Defense Weapon. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, supplies may be deemed to be available from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized supplies. No substitution of these supplies can be accepted. This is a commercial supply that will be acquired under FAR Part 13 procedures. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Administrative Information: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332994, "Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
