(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; the Government intends to award the contract on a competitive basis. This requirement is set-aside for certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. (ii) Solicitation number VA261-17-Q-0670 is assigned as the request for quote (RFQ) and is attached. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and 2005-95. (iv) This acquisition is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. In order to be eligible for award the vendor must be registered in the VetBiz database. The NAICS code is 811310 and the size standard is $7.5 million. (v) The contract line items are listed in the attached price schedule of the solicitation package. When providing a quote, please provide a fixed rate for each line item. (vi) The contractor shall provide Fire Suppression System Service & Maintenance at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. (vii) The contract will be for a base year plus four option years. The period of performance is listed in Section B of the solicitation.
