The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking proposals from parties for construction inspection and testing services on concrete structures and earth fill projects in Yamhill, Washington, Polk, Multnomah, Marion and Clackamas Counties, Oregon. Designs for the projects have been completed by NRCS including sizing, layout, elevations, details, and material requirements. Concrete testing is expected to include field testing for poured reinforced concrete slabs and low walls for 10-12 projects, with two to four site visits and testing for temperature, slump and recording times and placement. Earthfill inspection services for four to six projects typically include testing for moisture and percent compaction for embankments and compacted soil lining, recording approximate test locations, sampling and preparing new Proctor curves earth compaction requirements. The number of required site visits depends on contractor performance. Other tests for concrete quality and soil characteristics may also be required. Please review the solicitation provisions for instructions on submission of proposals. This constitutes the only notice of this procurement.
