Full Description

This combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for an emergency transaction to provide Media Fill and Glove fingertip tests as required to evaluate the aseptic manipulation techniques of all sterile compounding personnel. The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards in chapter <797> provide strict requirements for preparing sterile products. USP <797> requires all hazardous drugs (such as chemotherapy) and non-hazardous drugs (IV admixtures such as IV antibiotics, large volume parenteral, TPN's) to be prepared in a biological safety cabinet (BSC) placed in an area that is physically separated with negative pressure to adjacent positive pressure ante areas or in a Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolator (CACI). This solicitation is open market; however, the evaluation will consider SDVOSB and VOSB contractors in accordance with 38 USC 8127(d), Veterans First Contracting Program. All questions must be received by 0800 PST on 8/31/2016 in order to provide time to submit answers to all interested parties.
