The contract, identified by solicitation number 36C26126Q0670, is justified as a non-competitive procurement below the Micro-Purchase Threshold due to the vendor’s unique and documented familiarity with the facility’s existing fire door systems, ensuring continuity of service, minimizing operational risk, and avoiding the costs of onboarding a new contractor. The award is scheduled for May 6, 2026, with performance occurring over a 14-day period from May 8 to May 22, 2026. The contract value is estimated to be under $10,000, consistent with the micro-purchase threshold, and no detailed line-item pricing or clauses are provided. Responses to the synopsis are required by May 1, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, and must be submitted exclusively via email to John Waldrip, Contract Specialist, with respondents required to disclose their business size, socioeconomic status, and ownership structure. Proprietary data must be clearly marked, and no payment will be made for submissions. The place of performance is definitively Building 520 at the VAPAHCS Main Campus, and while no formal inspection standards, packaging requirements, or payment details are specified, acceptance is inferred to occur on-site based on the contractor’s proven track record and operational compatibility with the equipment. No competition will be held, and the Government makes no obligation to award based on this synopsis.
