Habitat Mitigation Land Acquisition and Management

This subcontract with the City of Palmdale focuses on habitat mitigation land acquisition and management for prime contractors working on CDFW permitted projects. The scope of work involves the acquisition of 358 acres of habitat management lands, the recording of conservation easements, and the implementation of site protection and enhancement measures. A primary objective of the contract is the management of western Joshua tree habitat in accordance with Government Code 65965-65968. The final deliverables include the transfer of fee title to the land, the formal recording of easements, and the successful management of the designated habitat.
