Notice is hereby given that the Corporation of the District of North Vancouver (the District) intends to directly award a contract subject to approval and funding to the following vendor to provide blue light led CIPP system including equipment, consumables, delivery, and operator training at a value of $174,745.50 USD plus tax. Vendor: Hammerhead Trenchless Address: 500 S. CP AveLake Mills, WI 53551 USAVendors wanting to challenge the District’s decision to Direct Award this contract should submit a detailed written objection through the District’s Bidding System by clicking on the link (https://dnv.bidsandtenders.ca/) prior to the Challenge Deadline. Respondents must first register as a Plan Taker by creating an account in the District Bidding System to submit a challenge to this Notice of Intent.Respondents are to present specific reasons for their written objection including:Specific reason(s) for objecting to the District’s intent to direct award; Ability to meet all the criterion listed above; Evidence that the cost will not exceed the price noted above; Respondent’s name, address, phone number; and Respondent representative’s name and contact information.Any written objections received prior to the deadline will be reviewed and considered. Determining the merits and legitimacy of the challenge is the full and unfettered discretion of the District based on the challenge presented and the District’s view of it. If any objection has sufficient credence to persuade the District that a fully qualified vendor, other than the intended Direct Award vendor identified in this NOI, is able to meet the entire requirement criterion at the same or lower cost, then the District may choose to publicly compete the goods and/or services.
