The National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Saguenay Site, is seeking to acquire a hand-held thermographic camera including post-processing software for its research and development (R&D) activities. NRC’s position in the automotive and aerospace sectors for advanced manufacturing in the fields of assembling and shaping various alloys requires equipment for the thermal examination of heat transfer, particularly during casting, stamping or welding processes. The inspection of various research equipment may also require thermal inspections. Finally, it is also essential to acquire a high-definition (HD) camera with a macro lens for the observation of micro-cracks.
