This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in RFO 12.201-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.



This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The following solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation, Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Circular FAC 2026-01; Effective 03/13/2026.
This acquisition will utilize North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334519 and Product or Service Code (PSC) 6665. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Lack of SAM registration may make an offeror ineligible for award.

The 87th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ, is seeking the procurement and delivery of Handheld Explosives Trace Detectors (ETD) for the 87th Security Forces Squadron (87 SFS), in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The requirement is for lightweight, highly sensitive, and rapidly deployable trace detectors capable of identifying military, conventional, homemade, and liquid explosive threats in various environmental conditions, to secure entry control points, conduct randomized vehicle inspections, and support anti-terrorism operations.



The Contractor shall provide all items, including detectors, batteries, power adapters, initial sampling swipe kits, built-in software, and commercial warranties associated with the requested equipment, in accordance with the attached SOW. The requirement is limited to direct procurement, shipping, and delivery of the required hardware; the Contractor shall not be responsible for installation, configuration, integration, testing, site readiness, decommissioning, or other on-site services unless otherwise stated herein. Any interested offeror shall provide their company information, quotation, and required documentation for the items identified below.
