The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106 to Viken Detection Corporation of Newton, MA for a HBI-120 Handheld X-Ray Imaging Device. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available based on the capabilities of the source. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
