SummaryThrough this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals from suitably-qualified organizations for the provision of various ‘handyperson’ services on an ‘if, as, and when required’ basis at various District facilities. Services will include repairs, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, minor painting and other similar tasks.As a result of this RFP, the District will select one preferred Contractor that will enter into a Standing Offer Agreement for provision of the District’s handyperson services for an initial term of 3 years, commencing on July 1st 2026 and expiring June 30th 2029. The Term of the Standing Offer Agreement may be extended by two further years, from July 1st, 2029 to June 30th 2031 at the District’s sole option and subject to mutual agreement between the parties on extension pricing and terms. While the District fully intends to utilize the Contractor to perform most handyperson services required by the District, the District does not guarantee any minimum quantity of services or that the Contractor will be the exclusive provider of handyperson or related services during the Standing Offer Agreement term.
