Full Description

Question: Can you clarify the purpose of the Individual Components Section of the above Solicitation? Are these parts intended to be separate spares? The reason for this question is that some of these descriptions are not stand-alone items. Answer: The individual components section provide the additional items to rack install items in Groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 along with the disk drives. This purchase is to provide a rack mounted system for one facility and extra blades for use in other facilities. The items in Groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 along with most of the individual hardware items to form a rack mounted system. Items in Groups 5 and 6 are to be delivered as individual blades for installation (or shelf spares) in already existing C7000's. The VMware and Windows 7 software will be installed by NOAA. Likewise the HP t310 clients and keyboards The service line items for HA124A1 and HA114A1 pertain to installation of the c7000 chassis units. The service line item HA113A1 pertains to the SAN Storage Unit lines directly above it. Any other "factory option for integration" lines pertain to the lines directly above, which they are attached.
