The City of Palm Coast is seeking quotes from qualified hardware retailers to establish a Price Agreement Contract that will facilitate hardware, tool, and supply purchases for city employees. The program should offer a discount percentage to be applied when city staff utilize the retailer's services through a City Procurement Card. To ensure proper authorization, the program must include a verification method confirming that the purchaser is a current City employee, such as checking the credit card for City issuance or requiring an employee ID badge. Rather than creating individual accounts for each employee, the City prefers to set up a single master account to manage all purchases efficiently. Vendors are required to submit their quotes on official letterhead in PDF format, valid for 120 days, and upload them through the GovSpend platform for evaluation. The solicitation, titled "Hardware Retailers," was posted on June 17, 2024, with a response deadline of July 1, 2024, and involves a contract value ranging from $50,000 to $200,000. Interested vendors can find additional details and submit their quotes via the provided GovSpend link.

Full Description

The City of Palm Coast is soliciting quotes for the purpose of establishing a Price Agreement Contract with qualified hardware retailer vendor(s). The quotes need to outline a proposed program, to include a discount percentage, whereby City employees could utilize the retailer services for hardware, tool and supply purchases, via a City Procurement Card, on an as needed basis.
The proposed program should include a method of verifying that the purchaser is indeed a current City Employee (such as checking the credit card to ensure it is City issued or requiring the employee to show their City ID badge). The City is NOT interested in setting up individual accounts, but rather one MASTER account for the City purchases.
Quote must be on Vendor letterhead, in PDF format, certified valid for 120 days and attached in the GovSpend tool for evaluation.
Please let us know if there are any questions, using the chat area of the GovSpend tool to log all questions.
