334290 Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Harris Corporation, Melbourne, FL 32902. This acquisition is for proprietary equipment. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Harris Corporation under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purchase will be made pursuant to FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for Harris Corporation. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Item (OCT 2015), 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (OCT 2014), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (APR 2016), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (MAY 2015), 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (MAR 2016) .
