Hawaii Live Potted Plants and Flowers

This is not a Solicitation of Quote. In accordance with Federal Acquisition regulation 19.202-2(a), the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is conducting market research to locate business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquistion is 111422 Floriculture Production, which sets the business threshold at $2,7 million dollars. DeCA is seeking qualified contractors for the acquisition and delivery live potted plants and flowers to the four stores in Hawaii. The contractor shall satisfy patron demands, ensure savings, increase slaes and maximize patron satisfaction at the floowing comissary locations in Hawaii: Schofield Barracks, Kaneohe Marine Corp Base, Pearl Harbor and Hickman Air Force Base. The contrtactor shall provide DeCA with all necessary support, order processing, electronic price updates, reporting, purchasing, distribution, and merchandising materials/personnel necessary for the successful performance under contract. In addtion, the contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary licenses, permits, supervision, favilities, equipment, order processing, distribution, inventory management, and personnel at the contractor's own facilities/distribution center to receive, store, handle, sort, and deliver all required Floral comprises of Lies, cut flowers, arrangements, the nursery component comprises of all potted plants and baskets, live potted plants and ornamental produce to the various commissay locations that are serviced under this contract. The period of performance are projected to consiste of a base period of 24 months and three option periods of 12 months each. The successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Electronic Document Access (EDA) is a requirment for any offeor that receives a contract award resulting from a solicitation.
