The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106 to Viken Detection Corporation, 330 Nevada Street, Newton, MA 02460 for HBI-120 X-Ray Imaging Devices and training. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Viken Detection Corp. is the manufacturer and sole distributor for the HBI-120 X-Ray Imaging Devices that meets the Governments needs of a one-person handheld operated imaging device pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
