HDIR/SWIR MALET Turret Kits with VNIR DTV cameras FA8620-18-C-2004 This is a presolicitation synopsis. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Medium Altitude UAS Division, AFLCMC/WIIK, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company. This effort contains the required support, planning, manufacturing, installation, and testing of sixteen (16) HDIR/SWIR Turrets in the MALET configuration to include the replacement VNIR DTV camera modification. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Raytheon Company is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Reaper MTS-B Turret hardware/software and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform these efforts. The Government does not own the data rights for the system? Therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.3021.
