Health and Safety Plan (HASP) Implementation and Monitoring

This subcontract focuses on the implementation and monitoring of Health and Safety Plans for remediation projects managed by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control in Los Angeles. The primary objective is to provide air monitoring and health and safety oversight for prime contractors, specifically focusing on the real-time detection of volatile organic compounds such as benzene and PCE at site perimeters. This is achieved through the use of air sampling pumps and Photoionization Detectors. To ensure compliance and safety, the contract requires the services of a Certified Industrial Hygienist or a qualified Health and Safety Officer. The selected provider is responsible for delivering daily air monitoring logs and detailed safety compliance reports to maintain rigorous environmental and health standards throughout the project duration.
